The ITUC World Congress is around the corner!

In this newsletter you will find the latest information on what steps are needed from you as well as further details on how the Congress will work. For more information please click on the link under each section.

Make sure that your delegation's accommodation is booked.

Two of the three official hotels are now fully booked during the Congress period. There are still rooms available at the CABINN Apartments. If you wish to take advantage of the ITUC block booking, (see conditions here), please book your room before the 29th October. After that date, the block booking will expire and rooms may no longer be available.

This Congress is designed to be interactive.

It will enable participants to engage in discussions and debates based on the experiences, campaigns, political action and organising strategies of trade unions from across the world. The core work will happen in the plenary debates. On top of that, "Congress Live" - Congress' very own livestream broadcasting facility - will provide a platform for delegations to send out tailored messages to maximise impact.

The ITUC Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts will provide the hubs of social media coverage. Check these regularly and post your comments about the Congress. During the plenary and sub-plenary debates, you can use specific Twitter Congress hashtags to get up-to-date information about what is happening at Congress, to join the conversation and amplify the voice of your Congress.

In the main plenary, interpretation will be provided in ten languages. Interpretation in the four official Congress languages (English, French, German and Spanish) will be provided in all sub-plenaries. Official Congress documents will also be translated into these languages.
